Pendant, He Kura
Incomplete pounamu/nephrite pendant, in the process of being reworked from an adze. Light blue and light green colour with light brown flaw on proper right side. Surface is ground smooth. Cross section is lenticular at the butt and rectangular at the blade. Incomplete perforation drilled from the back side of the butt, with two other drill marks on the poll. Proper left side is flattened and proper right side is flattened on the blade with a sharper edge on the butt, tapering toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Notch on the cutting edge, somewhat flattened on the left side.
