Pendant, He Kura
Complete pounamu/nephrite pendant. Mid-green with light green inclusions; black at the proximal edge. Surface has been ground. One side edge is reduced and flaked along the entire pendant. Suspension hole at the proximal end, slightly off-centre and drilled from both sides. Tapers slightly toward the proximal edge, which is oblique. Distal edge is sharp and straight, similar to the cutting edge of an adze. Bevel is continuous with the blade.
