Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Light grey/brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is ground and flaked with some bruising on the front of the butt. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in towards the poll, with a sharper angle on the proper right side. The bevel is demarcated by a curved line. The cutting edge is oblique and sharp with a chip on the front proper left.
