Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is predominantly ground with some flaking and bruising on the sides and poll. The surface is speckled with black. There is a piece of paper adhered to the back with "Found by Mrs and Miss (illegible: possibly Felo?) at 202 Purakanui 2.11.04" written on it. The butt is undifferentiated. The bevel is demarcated by a line at the chin. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
