Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Light brown/grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is bruised with ground areas on the lower blade. There is a slight reduction in the stone on the front sides of the butt. The bevel is demarcated by two oblique ridges that meet in the centre. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
