Adze, Toki

Broken adze (Upper blade and butt remaining). Stone. Black. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface of sides and front of upper blade is ground, rest is bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced forming small shoulder. Butt widens at poll forming two lugs on corner of poll. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Waiwera South written on front and back.
