roughout Circular cross-section at the butt, asymmetrical at the bevel. Roughly flaked and bruised surface on back of adze, bruised on the front butt, smooth stone on front The butt is indicated by the bruised surface which stops at the blade in an asymmetrical curved line. The back of the adze has not been worked enough to show a bevel. The cutting edge on the front is an irregular curve with a flake scar on the proper right. The front of the blade is outlined by the bruising around it. The back of the blade is unshaped
