Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section at the butt, triangular at the bevel. One side is roughly flaked, the other is flaked and bruised. It is unclear which is the front. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade apart from the bruising on one side of the butt. The sides of the blade taper in towards from the cutting edge to the poll. Both sides of the lower blade are flaked. The cutting edge is blunt and irregular.
