Adze, Toki

Broken adze, blade and butt end only. Grey stone. Oval cross-section. The surface is ground, bruised and flaked. There is a reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. There is no bevel, the broken end is a large flake scar. Small pieces of newspaper are adhered to the front and back of the blade.
