Adze, Toki

Complete adze roughout. Grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is flaked. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the cutting edge towards the poll. The bevel is roughly demarcated by flake scars. The cutting edge is curved, sharp and chipped.
