Adze, Toki

Complete unfinished adze. Light grey stone with a layer of white stone on the back. The cross-section is quadrangular. The surface is roughly flaked with ground areas on the lower blade. The sides of the blade taper inwards towards the poll and taper a fraction more at the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is chipped and curved.
