Adze, Toki

Large unfinished adze. Dark grey stone. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is flaked and bruised. There is a large straight shoulder with square sides and a small indentation in the centre on the front. The stone of the butt is reduced on the front. The butt curved slightly towards the back. The bevel is contusion with the blade. The cutting line is straight and irregular.
