Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Mottled greenstone. The cross-section is asymmetrical. The surface is mostly ground with bruising and flake scars. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a ridge on the proper left side and a flake scar on the right. The cutting edge is oblique, sharp and has small chips.
