Adze, Toki
Broken adze, blade remaining. Mid green, light green and light brown pounamu. Surface is ground and flaked, particularly on front proper left side. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Butt is not present. Bevel is demarcated by a slight ridge. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Old Pa, Kaiapoi." inscription on front. Sticker attached to the back reads "From the old Pa at Kaiapohia which was outside the Pa now [illegible]"
