Adze, Toki
Complete unfinished adze. Dark brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. Mostly ground surface with flake scars on the poll and the proper right. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the cutting edge towards the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is sharp with several chips, and a large chip on the proper right.
