Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Dark stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised with a ground area on the lower back of the blade. There one a curved shoulder on the front at the base of the butt and another curved shoulder underneath it. There is a reduction in the stone at the front and sides above each shoulder. There is a large flake scar on the proper right side of the front of the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is oblique and curved. "Tokata?" is written in pencil on the bevel.
