Complete adze The cross section is rectangular, but the centre of the proper left side is flaked or chipped such that it is almost lenticular. The surface is predominantly ground with flaking along the edges and sides. There are faint scratches on the front surface, and a dark patch on the back which may be adhesive. The butt is undifferentiated. The poll is very flat and smooth. The bevel is demarcated by a faint, asymmetrical line slightly higher on the proper right side. The cutting edge is asymmetrically curved with the blade longer on the proper left side. It is sharp.
