Adze, Toki

Broken adze (portion of lower blade remaining). Stone. Black with white flecks. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, patches of lichen on broken edge. Butt not present. Bevel is concave, cutting edge is sharp and straight, large fragment from proper left missing. Southland written on front.
