Complete adze. Argillite. Black. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground , becoming more bruised towards butt and poll. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced slightly. On back, butt differentiated by a raised portion of stone. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved slightly at edges.
