Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Basalt. Dark grey, black. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground on back, and on lower front. Flaking on upper front and sides, with small amount of bruising. Major differentiation between butt and blade, reduced on front and sides. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, with very small chips along cutting edge.
