Adze, Toki
Complete stone adze. The cross section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground on the front and bevel. The back and butt are bruised with some flaking on the poll and butt back. The butt has major delineation, with the front reduced, creating a pronounced shoulder. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp.
