Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is mostly ground on the blade, with bruising on the butt and flake scars across the surface. The butt is differentiated on both sides by an irregular curved line. The stone on sides of the butt are reduced and flare out again at the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a light curved line and has a large flake scar in its centre. The cutting edge is straight and chipped.
