Adze, Toki
Unfinished adze. Green and brown stone. The cross-section is irregular. The surface has ground areas on both sides of the blade, and flaked and bruised. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in towards the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a line in the stone. It is asymmetrical and flaked. The cutting edge is flaked and blunt. There is a label saying "A. Moritzson Collection." on the front of the adze.
