Adze, Toki
Complete adze. Light greenstone. The cross-section is quadrangular. The surface is ground with flake scarring on the back proper right. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is demarcated by a line on the blade. The cutting edge is straight and sharp with a shallow chip at its centre. The adze has a piece of paper adhered to the back that reads "Moritzson Collection" and one on the front "A. Moritzson Collection". There is also a round sticker with handwritten "376" (or 3/6?)
