Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised on the front and sides of the butt. Major differentiation between the butt and blade, with front and sides reduced to form shoulders. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Kaikourai Mouth" inscription
