Stone, Worked, Adze, Toki
Worked pounamu, possible broken adze. The cross section is lenticular. The surface is ground, with bruising on the back, proper left side and butt. There is minor demarcation of the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the poll. The poll has a bevel on the front. This bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge has been worked to the flat side, with a concave wearing in the centre of the edge. The cutting edge side has sharp corners.
