Adze, Toki

Complete adze. Greenish brown stone. Square cross-section. The surface is mostly bruised, with ground areas on each side of the blade. There is major differentiation between the blade and the butt, with a large shoulder on the front and reduction in the sides of the butt. The bevel is defined by a ridge, and is curved and concave. The cutting edge is sharp and slightly asymmetrical.
