letter, 02/09/1934, Mr T A C Hall, 26 Bracken Avenue, Epsom, Auckland to H D Skinner, The panels are packed and on their way to Dunedin. He goes on the describe the construction of the panels and gives instructions for reassembly. He mentions the use of tumatakahuki, added to stiffen the tukutuku, even though the spaces should be narrow. He also includes a photograph of the original pattern, rough plans, details any deviations he had to take in the construction, and talks about materials used.

letter, 03/10/1934, Mr T A C Hall, 26 Bracken Avenue, Epsom, Auckland to H D Skinner, He opens the letter glad that Skinner is happy with his work. He goes on to discuss a payment error, made by the registrar, for his work. He then talks about his progress on the Mandeno panels and the possibility he may try to add Maori head carvings on the small blocks beneath the rails. He concludes the letter by expressing his desire to continue their mutual association.

letter, 24/08/1934, Mr T A C Hall, 26 Bracken Avenue, Epsom, Auckland to H D Skinner, He opens the letter by talking about the imminent completion of the tukutuku panels. He then goes on to thank for giving him the work. He mentions that he placed the names where known on the back of the ticket, and cautions against mixing up "Pặpaki" and "Pᾱpaki" which he goes on to explain the difference in meaning between the two. He also talks about the meaning behind a few other words. He concludes by saying he will send the panels in the coming week and thanks Skinner for mentioning him to Mandeno & Fraser.

letter, 21/02/1934, Mr T A C Hall, 26 Bracken Avenue, Epsom, Auckland to H D Skinner, He begins the letter talking about the shipment of the tukutuku. He just returned from the camp at Muriwai where he cut kakaho for the project and saw Ulm leave with the first trans-Tasman mail. He includes information about the creation of dye used in the tukuku. He has not used swamp in the dyes and explains his reasoning for not using swamp, and also suspects his preferred hinau will be extinct in the future. He mentions it is wrong to have the Ngati Porou Epa in a Ngatiawa house as they enemies. Then he talks about his interaction with George Graham about which house is best - Hotunui or Mataatua. He concludes the letter with further plans for the panels he is working on.

letter, 28/08/1934, Gilbert Archey to H D Skinner, Says he has packed and sent the articles from the B.M. the articles include two basalt mere, two greenstone adze and a stone ditto. Archey kept a "wooden mere", a whalebone mere, an onewa and two stone adzes. Says he has already sent a cast of their North Taranaki Pare to B.M. Mentions a whale tooth pendant from Coromandel.
