He goes on the describe the construction of the panels and gives instructions for reassembly. He mentions the use of tumatakahuki, added to stiffen the tukutuku, even though the spaces should be narrow. He also includes a photograph of the original pattern, rough plans, details any deviations he had to take in the construction, and talks about materials used.
