Adze, Toki
Broken adze (blade and lower butt remaining). Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground. Major differentiation between butt and blade, prominent ridge at shoulder, front reduces after ridge and sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, large chip on proper left side. "Waikouaiti" written on front and back.
