T W Downes brought in a small hei tiki and wanted books in exchange. Marquesan fan needs cleaning and a little repair. Scott Russell has photographed the Maori house and it is ready for writing up in time. Professor Speight has been sacked by Canterbury Museum. Carnegie corporation has asked Dr Hercus to chair and convene their New Zealand committee.
