Due to poor health Mrs Macdonald has resigned as the Hocken Librarian. Visited Raole Museum with fine collection of the Pacific, Malay China and Japan. Prof, Eduard Handschiu worked in Australia with Dr Tillyard of Nelson. He met the director of the East Asiatic Museum, Dr Joseph de Somogyi. Visited the Ettenol Museum and met the director Dr Dominik Joseph Wolfal
