letter, 02/08/1935, Gilbert Archey, Director Auckland Museum to H D Skinner, Describes modifications to publication and discussion of manaia. Discusses fish-hook illustration in Beasley, p.166. Archey notes this is an early fake (1896) by Dannefaerd. Regrets that Skinner's paper on greenstone has been rejected. Would like to continue the protest. Will arrange to have mussel dredge sent down by steamer.
