letter, 11/01/1935, J W Brown, The British Film Institute to H D Skinner, Letter to the Secretary of the Royal Anthropological Institute asking for information on films has been forward to them. Letter referred specifically to anthropological and ethnographical films, but they're assuming the library is intended to embrace other subjects. Great need for a central distribution agency for educational films, this institute is considering a scheme for setting such a thing up to encourage and aid formations of such branches in the Dominions and Colonies. At this stage they ask to get in touch with individual distributors of educational films and get a hold of their catalogues and the terms on which films they could send to New Zealand. Enclosed is leaflet No. 5 on page 14 you can find a list of suppliers of such films in Britain. Enclosing other literature in hopes of it being of interest also.
