letter, 14/10/1953, Roger Duff to H.D. Skinner, Side One: In reference to Skinner's appeal to Falla to support the request to the Reserve Bank, feels quite confident due to successive letters from Beyer that eight New Zealanders will receive free accommodation and in an emergency would regard Archey and Falla as separate case and extend the total number to 10. Goes on to say that Mrs Skinner could not be classed as a delegate and that a maximum of 50 pounds could be allowed by the reserve bank if the other half of expenses could be covered. Duff and other delegates happy to transfer any surplus they could have. Side Two: Thanks for letter, in particular for the kind action regarding Mrs. Skinner, she is not coming. Mentions of Skinner's appeal to Falla and Duff, states that Oliver was in the museum when Skinner and Duff were elected delegates. Oliver, William, Skinner and Duff are all offered delegates and have arranged to have 50 pounds assigned to them. There is mentions of Miss Woods and her ideals of business procedures in regards to the Polynesian Society.
