letter, 31/07/1934, Sir Cecil Day to Dr. Benham, Showed the letter from the 27th July to the Governor-General, his personal inclination is to visit the Museum of the University of Otago during his visit next month but as matters stand his programme of engagements is already dangerously full. There may be an hour to spare on Tuesday 21st of August in the afternoon, but he does not wish to commit himself after the long day of travelling the day before and a luncheon and evening engagement on the Tuesday, he would like to devote little time he can to exercise or rest. In the event he can come, the Aide-de-Camp will let you know on Tuesday morning.
