letter, 11/03/1934, David Teviotdale to H D Skinner, I arrived in Orepuki to find Sorenson leaving. Some notes on his family and his collection. Mentions future plan to excavate cave at Port Craig. Staying at Masonic Hotel, like the town, it's seen better days. Visited King. Found a fair amount of broken and unfinished tools in a hut. Outlines after items found. Also went to the small gully at Wakapatu and found two moa skeletons and other bones. Experienced a small earthquake.
