letter, 27/06/1934 to Judge H. F. Ayson, While working over the materials from the Cook Islands over the last year or two for the museum by Mr. Drury Low, many difficulties have arised from lack of geographical information. Asks for printed maps of Aitutaki or Rarotonga, states that they're happy to pay to secure such maps, as long as their at a decent price and poses interest in maps of other islands. Hopes the double canoe Ayson mention on his last visit that is situated at the island of Mitiaro could be secured, happy to meet all costs for this. Polynesian collections continues to grow, latest items being two small stone figures from Tahiti, as well as a small collection from Rapa. Haven't got anything from the Cooks for a good while.
