letter, 17/10/1934 to Judge H. F. Ayson, Thanks for letter and maps, unsure if the copies might be made for the museum free of charge in regards to the survey's of Aitutaki and Mauke, if so, they would be very glad to have them to help locate and describe the large collection of materials they have from the two islands. Would be grateful if the double canoe could be secured, but are aware of difficulties in securing and shipping such a craft, a substantial gift would be expected by the community the canoe came from. Grateful for the materials already collected and interest.
