letter, 17/05/1934, H. D. Skinner to Charlie Brasch, Thanking for materials including glass and Mycenaean sherds, and information on Egyptian dating of Cretan and mainland sherds. Mentions of sack of Knossos, reflections on a trip to the Metropolitan Museum in 1927 where they were selling Cypriote duplicates, and purchasing a couple. Not enough funds at time for a complete Mycenaean pot dug up in Cyprus. Talks of Miss Joachim's visit to Mycenae where she picked up a number of sherds on Schlieman's dumps. McLachan has treated a brozen or copper piece that Brash has given. The coin sent is Greek, worked flint is part of a composite sickle. Friends of the Museum voted 10.10.0 pounds to the Egypt Exploration Society.
