Mentions Keesings return from visiting Beyer and seeing his collection of adzes. He discusses the influences seen, tanged adzes or not, and suspects his idea will be backed up by ancient Samoan sites in Samoa and Tonga. Then he discusses Sutherland's enthusiasm for Stimson and asks if he is planning to write on Tahiti and the Australs. He concludes by asking for his Caillot review to be held back until he can rewrite it and send a review of Rapa as well.
