letter, 16/05/1933, G Archey, Auckland Institute and Museum to H D Skinner, Mentions receiving a long and interesting letter from Kelsey, who says he has sent photos of his latest works to Skinner, and Skinner is to forward to Archey. Talks of Kelsey's scheme to come to New Zealand and freelance for various Museums, mentions Kelsey's advantage of association with Wellcome Museum. None of the New Zealand Museums able to appoint a full-time modeller. Archey would like to be lent "Folk Lore" no.47, 1917 containing Balfour's paper on the Easter and Solomon island "bird forms", has a reference to Balfour's earlier paper in "Man" from 1905 and wants to consult to come to a conclusion.
