letter, 13/10/1934, Mr Drury Low, Mauke to H.D. Skinner, The name of the canoe, of which parts were sent to Skinner, is Teurumaunga. Asking for 12 shillings payment for the stone axe/adze sent previously. Author has started a collection of items for Skinner's Museum. Mention of Kura sightings, a pretty red bird with yellow wings. Mention of a canoe hidden in a cave called Vaitango, the canoe is rumoured to be stolen from the Atiuans. The fifth page of the letter includes a detailed outline of the canoe.
