letter, 09/11/1934, Mr Drur+A1800y Low to H.D. Skinner, Has located steering paddle for canoe (sent earlier?). Very old, still with original family and not used since owner's death. About 9 foot long, mae of Tou and with unusual carving on blade. Also a bailer. Can probably get latter but not former. Have remains of old canoe cased but will ship next year. Has found adze in taro swamp. Finished paper on the game of pua. Sending crescent-shaped pearl necklace for him to look at but must be returned. Hopes to get Trenn to ship parcels of curios (and oranges). Lot of sickness (probably from Rarotonga). No medical care available and lack of medicine. Can Skinner find a catholic medical student who would be send the Catholic father caring for them an up-to-date medical textbook
