letter, 24/07/1930, Louis J Vangione Akaroa to H D Skinner, Discussing 3 books that he has come across that depict photos and descriptions of Maori and Moriori relics. Detailing finds at a peninsula in Akaroa, including of several tattooing needles and pins made of albatross wing bone, and one of a human fibula. Says he will send Skinner one of each specimen, and gives a description of each. Also inquires about the purpose of a whale bone specimen he found.
