letter, 06/08/1929, C H Taylor snr. "Olton Crest," Cheshire, England. to H D Skinner, Describes purchase in 1879 of carved wooden head of Maori Prophet Te Whiti. Carving was made by a constable during the Waitemata Plains Dispute. Also describes other artefacts which are available for purchase for the museum.
