letter, 27/04/1928, H L Ferguson Dean to H D Skinner, History of the Cook artifacts possibly stolen from the collection while in Trinity. After Cook died cabin taken over by Gore. He died and cabin taken over by Lt King He thought the artifacts belonged to Gore and sent them to his relatives in Northern Ireland where they were found by Macalister prof of Zoology at Trinity where they were hung in the examination hall
