Letter, 29/09/1938, H D Skinner to Mr McCully, Thanks for letter about Maori tracks now forwarded to Fred Waite in charge of tracks in Murihiku. Refers to some notes by McCully on Mantell's diagramatic map of the track up the Waitaki. Stresses the importance of recording the locality of items in a collection. Knapp's collection in Nelson is lacking in this respect.
