Reports on human remains ((children and adults) present on the track over Potato Hill between Black Forest and Burnett's property. Information obtained from a former worker on Gray's Hill about location of Moa hunter camp, Rauru, described as an "ancient settlement" on a map by Te Hore Karori in 1844.
