Letter, 04/03/1938, H D Skinner to John Matson, Haast, Marion Scott showed me drawing of of chisel or gouge and shank of a fish hook. We have not seen one from the West Coast. Could you lend the to us to make casts? Miss Scott mentioned that you had found a group of adzes at the mouth of the Haast. We would like to see them as the collection of a single workman is very important.
